Squier`s Standard series is what the entire brand is all about - affordable, yet very playable guitars with good build quality and tone. Standard Strat FMT is a regular Standard series Strat with a solid agathis body and bolted maple neck, a combo frequently used throughout the Squier catalog. Though sometimes poorly received, agathis can actually emulate mahogany`s warmth and depth pretty well, if dried and processed well. Its advantage over mahogany is its price, it`s super affordable. With the maple neck with C profile and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard we`re back to the standard Fender features. Standard Single-Coil Strat pickups are installed in SSS configuration and have the standard controls unit (one volume, two tones and a five-position blade switch). Synchronized trem bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
