SGR series is made in China and represents Schecter in the entry level class. With design based on the more expensive series, Schecter hardware and electronics and pretty good tone, these axes are among the best options for beginners keen to start on a proper metal guitar. Avenger FR SGR By Schecter is a solid and double-cut guitar made of a carved basswood body and bolted maple neck. Neck on this model is a standard one - it has the regular C profile in the back and a 24-fret fingerboard on top. Pickups are Schecter`s own Diamond Plus humbuckers (both the bridge and neck positions). Master volume, master tone and a three-way pickup switch make up the controls. Licensed Floyd Rose bridge (paired with a locking nut) and Schecter tuners complete the hardware section.
