Banshee series is being updated with twelve new models for 2014 and this is one of them. This mighty eight-stringer is named Banshee 8 Passive LH and is the most powerful left-handed guitar on the market. It comes with a pair of Seymour Duncan`s Nazgul and Sentient humbuckers. Nazgul is fit into the bridge position, while the Sentient is in the neck. These two can take on pretty much anything players throw at them, from hard rock, to most brutal metal genres. Even rock and a bit of blues can be squeezed out of them when they`re split into single coils. Another strong point of these pickups is their supreme clean tone, in both the hum and split variants. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch are used to control and manipulate them. Schecter adds the standard flat double-cut body made of alder back and quilt maple top and a combined maple/walnut neck with ultra thin C contour in the back. Bridge section on the top is fit with a reliable hardtail bridge with eight saddles and string-through-body construction. Fingerboard on this one is the series standard one, ebony-made with 24 extra jumbo frets and offset dot inlays.
