C models are solid, double-cut and have carved tops. They are the backbone of the Schecter`s catalog and the key to the renewed fame and success this brand is enjoying. C-1, C-7 and even the C-8 models, in recent years, are present throughout the catalog and are a major part of every important and significant range with Schecter badge. Blackjack series is, for 2014, updated with nine C models. Blackjack ATX C-1 FR is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany. Carved top and aged creme binding are among the most distinctive visual features of a Blackjack C-1 model body. This one is offered in classic Aged Black Satin and Red Vampyre Satin colors with satin finish and black hardware. Pickups on the top are Seymour Duncan`s AHB-1 Blackout humbuckers with active electronics. Two volume knobs, one tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch form a small, simple, yet deadly accurate and effective controls unit. Mahogany neck is glued to the body and is combined with Ultra Access cutaway. Thin C contour is featured in the back, while a 24-fret ebony fingerboard is on the top.
