Schecter Blackjack SLS C-1 is the opener for the entirely new line in Schecter catalog for 2012. SLS stands for "Slim Line Series" of models with ultra thin and satin finished necks. SLS C-1 is a solid double cutaway model made of mahogany body with a flamed maple top. The carved top is bound in several layers of black binding. There are no pickguards as is tradition with Schecter models. This one is available in satin black and see thru blue burst. The bridge is a tune-o-matic with a string-through construction. Seymour Duncan active Blackout or Passive Full Shred humbuckers, the choice is up to every player. Two volume with push pull, one tone and three position blade switch comprise the controls department on this C-1. The neck is made of three pieces of maple with ultra thin shape and set-in joint with ultra access cutaway. The back of the neck is finished in satin. The fingerboard is made of ebony and sports 24 extra jumbo frets with custom skull inlay at the 12th fret. The scale is regular 25-1/2" long, hardware is plated in black chrome and the tuners are Schecter locking. The MSRP for this model is set at $1,119.
