Schecter Guitars have unveiled a brand new Blackjack SLS Series based on already known and revered Blackjack models. The SLS in he name of this series stands for Slim Line Series. That means super thin and lightning fast necks. Besides that, a choice between passive and active pickup combo, flamed maple top and 24 extra jumbo frets are hallmarks of this line. Blackjack SLS C-1 FR is a solid double cutaway model with a body made of solid mahogany back and carved flame maple top. This model features satin black and see-thru black color options with black binding. The bridge is a Floyd Rose 1000 with a locking string nut. It is clad in black chrome. The pickup combo is a matter of personal preference for every player. Options available are active Seymour Duncan Blackout humbuckers and passive Seymour Duncan Full Shred in bridge and Jazz Passive humbuckers in the neck position. Two volume, one tone knob and three-position blade are featured in the controls department. Only the passive option gets the push-pull volume knobs. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and has super thin contour, satin neck finish, contoured heel and ultra access lower cutaway. The fingerboard is made of ebony and sports 24 extra jumbo frets with skull inlay at the 12th fret. The MSRP for Blackjack SL C-1 FR is not yet set.
