C-1 is a classic Schecter concept, present in the catalog since the early years. Over the years, it evolved, changed, then went back to its roots. For 2015, C-1 range is being refreshed with a reiteration of one of the most popular versions of this classic - the stylish and distinguished C-1 E/A. 2015 incarnation of the E/A starts off with a classic mahogany/maple base and combined Schecter/Fishman electronics. Semi-hollow body features the carved top C-1 design with modern ultra access cutaway and stylized "f" hole on the bass side of the bridge. Gorgeous flamed maple top is offered in sublime Cats Eye color with glossy finish. Classic Tune-o-matic bridge/stoptail bar bridge unit is fit with the mentioned Fishman piezo pickup, while the standard pickups combo offers a double dose of Schecter Diamond Plus humbucker. Six-piece controls unit is made up of master tone and master volume for the piezo pickup, master tone and master volume for the humbuckers (tone pot features push/pull switch as well), three-way piezo/magnetic mode selector and the run-of-the-mill three-way toggle magnetic switch. Three-piece maple neck is fit with a thin C profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Set of chrome-plated Grovers on the headstock adds a nice finishing touch to this already impressive specs list.
