Jerry Horton of the California-based hard rockers Papa Roach is one of the old-timers of the Schecter Signature Artist lineup. His original signature model based on the classic Solo-6 is being replaced for 2015 by a brand new one based on the also Schecter classic - Tempest. Stripped down to the bone and fit with a pair of Schecter Custom Shop pickups, Jerry Horton Tempest is ready to rock your socks off. Solid and flat Tempest body is made of mahogany and features the standard set-in neck joint. Satin white color scheme is contrasted by black hardware and black headstock with white binding. Fingerboard and body are also bound in white (binding around the body is almost indistinguishable due to being the same color as the rest of the body). Two-piece bridge is, like the rest of the hardware, clad in black and features the standard top-load construction. The main feature of this rather discreet signature is found in the pickups department - it`s a pair of hand-wound Schecter Pasadena pickups. Two volume knobs, master tone with push/pull switch and three-way toggle pickup switch are found in the controls unit. Three-piece mahogany neck features the thin C profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
