Just like every army has it`s sniper cell sleeping deep behind the enemy lines, Schecter has the marvelous Black Ops C-1. Cloaked in Satin Black paint and with a single 12th fret sniper cross-hairs inlay on the fingerboard, Black Ops C-1 aims at players who are about performance instead of flash. If not carefully observing this state-of-the-art six-string, one might mistake it for just another run of the mill, generic axe from an anonymous manufacturer. But, the trained eye can easily detect the classic C-1 body with the modern beveled top and distinct swamp ash grain pattern beneath the flat black paint. Characteristic headstock with a familiar three-a-side set of die-cast tuners is also a dead giveaway. Further down the specs list, Black Ops C-1 features a Hipshot bridge with string-through construction in combination with locking Schecter machine heads (needless to say the hardware follows the overall visual theme and is all black) for the ultimate tuning and intonation stability. Perfectly noiseless (until engaged) Schecter USA Apocalypse VI pickups have a huge range of tonal options (coil-splitting ability gives them off-the-chart level of versatility), covering everything from the soft rock and acoustic ballads to modern metal. Three*piece maple neck with ultra access cutaway rocks the super comfortable thin C profile and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Glowing side dot markers and the sniper cross-hair complete the Black Ops theme.

I've been playing guitar over 50 years and have had a lot of guitars... The Schecter Black Ops is so much fun to play, it seems I never tire of playing this cool guitar... There's a saying, different strokes for different folks, the Schecter Black Ops may not be your kind of stroke, but I'll go to the grave with this guitar, it look a lifetime to find the perfect guitar and I'm not planning on giving it up ever... I might add I've read that only 30 of these guitars were made, so if you're lucky enough to encounter a Black Ops take it for a drive, I think you'll enjoy.
