Currently, Keith Merrow is one of the top shredders out there. With brutal precision and jaw-dropping technique, Keith has gained an army of fans in a very short time. Despite the short time spent on the scene, Merrow has gained a lot of attention from guitar manufacturers, especially Schecter. Together, Keith and Schecter have created Keith`s first signature models. KM-6 LH is one of two series updates for the fall of 2014. These two expand the series into the six-string territory in order to reach out to the players reluctant to switch over to the seven-string tribe. KM-6 LH is a solid and double-cut guitar based on the standard C-1 body shape with the customize KM series features added onto the well proven and time tested foundation. Swamp ash is used for the back of the body, while the carved top is made of flamed maple. Trans Black Burst Satin is the only color option for this particular model (also, it is a series-wide standard, only the right-handed six-stringer is available in white). Black hardware is used on all of the KM models. Hardtail bridge on this one has six adjustable saddles and string-through construction. In it`s front, Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter (KM Exclusive) buckers are installed. Master volume knob with push/pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup switch complete the controls unit. Three-piece maple neck is fast, slim and very comfortable under the fingers. On it`s top, there`s a series standard 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Locking Schecter tuners complete the list of major features.
