Keith Merrow of conquering Dystopia is one of the pioneers and most prominent users of the seven-stringed guitars, along with Jeff Loomis and others. He is already a member of the Schecter signature tribe, his series has only had seven-stringed guitars in it` ranks. This time, Schecter introduces a pair of six-stringed Keith Merrow signature models and KM-6 is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body borrowed from the C family. Both the back and the carved top on this model are made of swamp ash. It is combined with the super fast and comfy three-piece maple neck. This combination is the perfect one for all of the shredders out there, combining the depth of the swamp ash and brightness and clarity of the maple. Hardtail bridge with six adjustable saddles and string-through construction sits on the top. In it`s front, Schecter installs Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter (KM Exclusive) set of passive humbuckers. Master volume with push/pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Slim and fast neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with extra jumbo frets and offset dot inlays. Locking Schecter tuners, Graphtech nut and 25-1/2" scale complete the major specs list.
