Chris Howorth of New York`s metallers In This Moment is joining the Schecter signature artist family in 2014. His amazing fingerboard skills and band`s popularity and influence have granted him what is hopefully the first of many Schecter signatures with Chris`s name on them. Thanks to it`s fiery red color and classic Flying V body shape, one might mistake it for the amazing Jeff Waters Annihilation Epiphone. But, a closer look reveals that this is a seven-string guitar with a long 26-1/2" scale and a single EMG pickup in the bridge position. Body of this mighty V is solid, flat and made of mahogany. It is paired with a neck, also made of mahogany (standard three-piece neck). Tune-o-matic bridge is alone in the bridge section, as strings run through the body behind it. EMG707 is installed in the bridge position and it features a lone volume knob in the controls unit. Mahogany neck is fit with a standard thin C contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Extra jumbo-sized frets, 1.89" wide TUSQ nut and custom 12th fret inlay complete the fingerboard. Schecter tuners wrap the specs list.
