E-1 FR Special Edition (2017) is one of Special Edition models Schecter`s prepared for the start of 2017. It is based on the aggressive E (coming from Explorer) design, and it`s loaded with some pretty awesome cosmetics, electronics and hardware features. The chassis of this six-stringed metal beast is made up of mahogany body, flat quilted maple top, three-piece mahogany neck (set-in joint, ultra access, carbon fiber reinforcements, thin C profile) and 24-fret ebony fingerboard (extra jumbo frets, block inlays, 1.625" wide locking nut and 12"-16" compound radius). Hardware and electronics appointments featured on this exquisite E include 1500 series Floyd Rose bridge (black, locking nut), Schecter electronics (USA Apocalypse-VI bridge pickup, Sustainiac in the neck) and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
