Solo models (Les Paul-shaped single-cuts) have been a big part of Schecter catalog for years and are still going strong as ever. For 2014, Hellraiser series is being updated with a pair of Solo II models, one right and one left-handed six-stringer. Hellraiser Solo II LH is a solid and single-cut guitar with a long 25-1/2" scale (usually, models based on the classic Les Paul have 24-3/4" scale, but Solo models are fit with the long ones to comfortably support 24 fret fingerboards), carved top body, set in neck and active electronics. Mahogany base of the body is topped with a quilted maple cap with abalone binding around it. Black Cherry Burst is the only color option available for this model (Traditionally, Schecter offers very limited color palettes in both the guitar and bass segments of the catalog). Two-piece bridge is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge in the front and a stoptail bar in the back. EMG 81 is installed in the bridge and 89R in the neck position. These two can be split into single-coils to increase the versatility of this magnificent axe. Mahogany neck is made of three pieces of wood, which is a standard Hellraiser feature. It`s fit with the thin C contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
