JLV-7 NT is a brand new model in the line of Jeff Loomis signature guitars made by Schecter. This particular model starts off with the beginning of the 2012 year and represents the basic model of the V shaped section. It has seven strings, maple fingerboard and satin finish. It it starts off with a V-shaped solid body made of ash wood with beveled edges. There are no pickguards or bindings featured on this model. There is only one color option available, the satin black. This V is symmetrical and features very specific tail endings. The bridge is a tune-o-matic with a string-through-body construction. The bridge is plated in black chrome. The pickup combo on this model is made up of a pair of EMG`s 707 active humbuckers. They are controlled though a simple setup of a master volume knob and a three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and equipped with set-in joint and ultra access with contoured heel. The fingerboard is made of maple with 24 extra jumbo sized frets and metal cross position inlays, The scale is 26-1/2" long, tuners are Schecter locking and the hardware is plated in black chrome.
