Special Edition PT F-4 has a custom top graphic dedicated to one of the most famous and best fighter jets of all time, the legendary F-4 Phantom. Other than that, this Special Edition PT is much like the other PTs with it`s 22 frets, bolted neck and Tele-inspired body shape. Special Edition PT F-4 starts off with a solid mahogany made single cutaway body. The top is not bound and features no pickguards, they gave way to the fantastic graphic. The back color of this PT is black with glossy finish. The bridge option on this model very much resembles a combination of Telecaster`s "tray" bridge and Stratocaster`s hardtail with string-through-body construction. The pickups built on this guitar are Schecter`s own Super Rock active humbuckers with Alnico V magnets. They are controlled through master volume and master tone with push-pull functions, and a three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of maple and has a bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard has PT Series standard 22 extra jumbo frets with stars and bars inlays throughout the fingerboard. Other features include Grover tuning machines and a standard 25-1/2" scale.
