Stealth is a brand new series in Schecter`s catalog. It`s mission is to conquer the lower intermediate and beginner classes of the market and bring as many young players as possible under Schecter`s wing. This especially goes for the young metalheads, as Stealth series takes after it`s older brethren from Hellraiser and Blackjack series. For 2014, Stealth series lineup is being populated with five models and C-1 FR is one of them. This basic six-stringer comes with a solid, double-cut (C-1) body with a carved top, set in neck with an ultra access cutaway, 24-fret fingerboard and Schecter hardware and pickups. Entire body and the neck are both made of mahogany, while the fingerboard is made of rosewood. On the top of the black-clad body (Black Satin is the only color option available for this model), there is a licensed Floyd Rose bridge with six saddles. In it`s front, Schecter installs a pair of their own Super Rock humbuckers. Controls unit contains a master volume, master tone (with push/pull switch) and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany neck rocks the classic thin C contour in the back. Rosewood fingerboard features extra jumbo frets with offset dot inlays, 1.653" wide TUSQ nut and the standard 14" radius. Schecter tuners complete the specs list. The MSRP for this model is set at $799.
