SGR series is Schecter`s answer to the flood of metal-oriented beginner guitars which broke out in recent years. It is made and assembled in China, but quality checked by the US headquarters.
Sunset SGR is the most affordable Schecter six-string with a solid body. It comes within a value pack bunched with basic accessories.
Solid and double-cut body is flat on top and made of basswood. It is coupled with a standard maple-made neck with a Thin C profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. 14" radius, 1.653" Graphite nut and pearl inlays complete the fingerboard.
Schecter`s own Diamond Plus humbuckers (also made in China) are placed in the bridge and neck positions of the pickups compartment. Tune-o-matic bridge and Schecter tuners wrap up the list of major features.
