Metallic Red
SGR series is the opening series of the Schecter catalog. It is made and assembled in China from where it`s distributed around the world. Models of this series are based on the pre-existing concepts (Avenger, C-1, Solo, etc) and are loaded with Schecter hardware and electronics.
S-1 SGR By Schecter comes with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood and bolt-on neck made of maple (all models in the lineup feature the same set of tonewoods). 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is also shared among the SGR models (except the Solo and 006 models).
Schecter`s Diamond Plus humbuckers provide more than a solid tone, considering the price class the SGR series competes in ($200 class) and combination of a tune-o-matic bridge and Schecter tuners keeps the tuning and intonation well in check.
