Demon series was a very active line of affordable metal guitars. Then, several years ago, Schecter stopped producing Demon models. The demon line was resurrected recently and continues the legacy of its predecessor. It features double-cut guitars based on C-1, C-7 and C-8 models.
The only 2016 update of the Demon lineup is actually an S-II guitar. It too is a double-cut guitar, but instead of Soloist, it is of SG heritage. Nevertheless, it rocks a beveled basswood body, bolt-on maple neck (C profile), a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (abalone cross inlays, 1.653" nut, 14" radius), Duncan Designed HB-105 pickups (both bridge and neck), a simple controls unit (volume, tone, three-way switch) and a simple hardware section )string-thru TOM bridge and die-cast Schecter tuners).
