Synyster Gates is the most popular and the most important member of Schecter`s signature artist tribe. Also, his series is the biggest one, with new models introduced every year. 2018 model year brings forth a trio of new Synyster Gates models, with Synyster Custom (2018) being one of them. The classic Synyster recipe with a handful of updates is used on this one. It starts with a well-known Avenger body (made of mahogany, no top wood cover, no pickguard), set-in mahogany neck (3-piece, ultra thin C profile), and Schecter electronics (Syn`s signature pickups). the suave Gloss Black w/Silver Pin Stripes outfit is the only one available. Other notable features include a 24-fret ebony fingerboard (25.5" scale, Syn`s custom inlays), Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge, and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
