Affinity series from Squier is made for all the young aspiring blues and rock guitarists who need solid quality, but are not able to buy a high-end Fender guitar. It is Squier`s premier series of solid-bodied electric guitars and basses. Four, five and six-stringers from the Affinity line feature upscale Squier specs lists and offer high quality of tone and build. For 2013, Squier renews the series with five novelties and standard S/S/S Stratocaster is one of them. It comes with a standard double-cut body made of alder. It is solid, flat on top and contoured in the back. Traditionally, there`s no binding, or top wood cover. White pickguard is installed on the top on all twelve color options. Eight of them come with rosewood fingerboards and four have maple fingerboards. Vintage synchronized trem bridge sits on the top and sports the regular six adjustable saddles. Fender`s Standard Single-Coil Strat pickups are featured in all three positions. Master volume and two tone knobs comprise the controls unit. Standard five-position blade switch accompanies them. Bolt-on neck is made of three pieces of maple and is equipped with the standard C contour in the back. Die-cast tuners are installed on the headstock. 25-1/2" scale, 9.50" fingerboard radius and 1.60" wide synthetic bone string nut complete the specs list.
