Three series comprise Taylor`s electric range - T5, T3, and T5z. T5z offers small-bodied models with electro-acoustic construction and vintage single-cut design. All models, including the T5z, have hollow bodies, 14th fret neck joints and fixed acoustic bridges. Under the hood, Taylor`s T models have hybrid electronics. The most usual setup includes an acoustic body sensor, a bridge humbucker, and a concealed neck humbucker. T5z Classic DLX is an option located between T5z Classic and T5z Standard options. It offers a solid mahogany top, 14th fret neck joint, standard electronics unit, and premium hardware. Taylor offers this one in Shaded Edgeburst only. Other notable features include a solid sapele neck, 21-fret fingerboard made of ebony (1-11/16" Tusq nut, diamond inlays), fixed acoustic bridge, and Taylor tuners.
