Traveler is one of the fastest growing brands out there, and also one of the most innovative. The L-22, if measured by the standards of the regular market can not be deemed as very progressive nor advanced, but by the Traveler standards, it is a game changer, a ground-breaking axe. It boasts several "the first model to feature" titles among Traveler Guitar axes. First off, it is the first Traveler model to feature a conventional headstock. Though small and very compact, it houses six tuning machines (3+3 arrangement), a string tree, and a truss rod adjustment opening. Next in line of novelties is the first ever neck pickup on a Traveler model. Set of two full-sized humbuckers has been installed on the minute LP-fashioned body. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. 1-1/2" thick solid body beneath the pickups is made of alder and painted in gorgeous Sunburst color with glossy finish. A standard two-piece bridge unit (tune-o-matic bridge/stoptail bar) is also featured on the flat top. 22-fret fingerboard with a standard 24-3/4" scale is installed atop the neck. Trapezoid inlays, medium-sized frets and a 1-5/8" string nut complete the fingerboard.
