Apache II is a model from a new Apache series of electric guitars made by Vox. Currently, there are only two models in this series and the Apache II is the only one with Phantom shaped body. This vintage styled guitar features abundance of modern technology and is a dream come true for every player who likes to be on his own and play guitar wherever he wants. This model is available in Black, Red, Blue and White. All four colors are finished in gloss. Hardware is chrome plated and the scale is 24 inches long. Body of this model is made of basswood and it houses extensive electronics section covered with a white plastic pickguard. Bridge on this model is a hardtail which can commonly be seen on Fender guitars and similar models. It is plated in chrome. There`s only one pickup on this guitar, a single coil in the neck position. Underneath the "hood" this Apache conceals a Vox amp with a pair of 3" speakers. Belonging equalizer and overdrive button are installed. This amp can also play any of 66 programmed rhythm patterns in tempos from 40 to 240. Neck is made of hard maple and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets and white dot position markers are featured on it. This model will be exhibited at Vox booth at 2012 summer NAMM Show.
