Parallaxe is a new player in the metal axe arena and they come as a sub-brand of Washburn Guitars. They are completely dedicated to perfecting the concept of metal guitar and offering it with an affordable price tag. Parallaxe kicks off with three series in the initial lineup. PXM, PXS and PXL are their names. PXM and PXS are dedicated to double-cut guitars, while the PXL features single-cut guitars based on the Idol series models from the regular Washburn catalog. PXM line consists of five guitars. All are double-cut and have set in necks. PXM20FR is one of them. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and flame maple top. Spartan styling is Parallaxe`s choice for all of the models of the initial lineup. Carved top does not feature any unnecessary or decorative appointments. Black Cherry Burst is the only color scheme available for this model. Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo is featured in the bridge section. Seymour Duncan TB6 is in the bridge and Jazz is in the neck position. They come with a standard controls unit. Set in neck is made of maple. 24-fret fingerboard is made of ebony and it features super jumbo frets with a custom 12th fret inlay. 25-1/2" scale, Grover tuners and Buzz Feiten tuning system complete the specs list for this face-melting six-stringer.
