PXS10EDLX is a model from the PXS series of double-cut guitars in Parallaxe Guitars catalog. PXS series is dedicated to the production of double-cut electric guitars with metal and shred orientation. All models from this series feature carved-top bodies, maple necks, 24-fret fingerboards, Grover tuners and Buz Feiten tuning system. Also, all six and seven-string models from this series have 25-1/2" scales. Along with PXM and PXL, PXS comprises the initial lineup of the Parallaxe Guitars. Parallaxe is Washburn`s sub-brand with which Washburn plans to take on the busiest section of the metal-oriented electric guitar market, the segment between $750 and $1,250. PXS10EDLX is the luxurious variant of the PXS10EC model and it comes with a body made of alder back and flame maple top. This model is available only in black color with black hardware. Bridge section is a simple one, it features a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Pickups featured in the front are EMG 81 bridge humbucker and 85 neck humbucker. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard with a custom 12th fret inlay. Buzz Feiten tuning system, 25-1/2" scale, matte finish and Grover tuners close the specs list of this model.
