RX series from Washburn deals with solid-bodied electric guitars. All of them have double-cut bodies, maple necks, 24-fret fingerboards and characteristic Washburn styling. RX series design is based on the early Soloist design. Top models feature set in neck joints, while the others have traditional bolt-on joints. RX 25 is lower intermediate model in this series and it has a standard double-cut body made of basswood back and flamed maple top. Top is made of two pieces of wood and is finished in high gloss. Gold-plated hardware is used on green variant, while the others have chrome hardware. Double-locking trem bridge is fronted by a set of three passive pickups in H/S/S configuration. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.

I just received this guitar today. Took it out of the box and it was almost in tune. Did a little tweaking on the bridge to lower the strings. Pluged it in, and damn! What a sweet sounding axe. I have several higher end guitars, but this is my favorite now! Love the humbucker combo with single coils. Best of both worlds, strat or lespaul all in one guitar. Pickups are hot, neck is beautiful and straight. So easy to play. I got the black and the finish is beautiful. Way to go washburn, this is a keeper! And only $144 and free shipping from Hello Music
