120H is a part of the marvelous Pacifica series of solid-bodied electric guitars. The Pacifica range caters to the needs of beginners, amateurs, working musicians and semi-professionals. Its models are specially designed to offer high level of playability, good and sturdy construction and versatile tone. 120H belongs to the pretty basic 100 tier (one level above the beginner 012 tier), and is the textbook example of why is Yamaha so successful in the lower regions of the market. It features a solid and flat alder body with a bolted maple neck, six-saddled hardtail bridge, plastic pickguard (classic Strat style), and two passive humbucking pickups with coil-splitting ability. Other major specs include a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood, natural-colored Strat headstock with six in-line tuners, and a standard 25-1/2" scale.
