RGX121Z is a now discontinued model from the fantastic RGX line. With a blend of affordable hardware, tonewoods and passive electronics, RGX121Z might come across as a not so impressive guitar. But, the tone and playability of this modest six-string tell a completely different story. Solid and flat body is available in two variants, agathis and nato, but the bolted neck is strictly maple-made. String-through tremolo bridge and a set of high quality die-cast tuners keep this little rocker in tune even after the extensive whammy bar abuse. Yamaha`s own passive pickups are featured on this one. H/S/H set has a basic controls unit, but delivers a stunning range of styles and sounds. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays rounds off the list of major specs.
