Back in the turbulent `70s, Britain was a stage of yet another in what seems to be an endless succession of musical revolutions. Waves of rhythm and blues revival of the late `50s, Beetlemania of the early `60s and the emergence of psychedelic rock and hard rock have just subsided when out of nowhere, new, stripped down, daring and bold sound started shattering eardrums and long-held conventions and beliefs of Britain`s youth. Very soon, Ramones left home in a rocket to Russia and went down the road to ruin. Rock music changed forever with the craziest family that`s ever visited this little green and blue rock of ours.
