As one of the oldest and most popular guitar brands around, Epiphone has a reputation to maintain. A reputation of a high quality brand with reasonable price policy. Sometimes it can be a tricky thing to do, but Epiphone has been doing it for so long that it seems effortless. Also, throughout its history, Epiphone`s built everything from banjos and mandolins to heavy rocking axes. This diversity inherent to Epiphone name is quite obvious in the new Spring 2015 lineup, despite it having only a five-piece roster. Dobro Hound Dog M-14 Metalbody with a round neck is the fifth and last model in the Spring 2015 lineup. Also, it is the only resonator guitar among these five six-stringers. This genuine Dobro comes with a nickel-plated body made of brass, mahogany neck with slim taper contour and 19-fret rosewood fingerboard, Grover tuners and a pair of “f” holes on the top.
