The first two, the American Specials are reissues of last year`s 60th anniversary Stratocasters of the American Special class, while the other two are completely new creations with American Standard electronics and 22-fret fingerboards. Last, but not the least, two vivid special edition models wrap up today`s list of reviewed models. The first one is the Special Edition `60s Strat, a beautiful vintage guitar with all the surf rock poise and cool. Special Edition David Lozeau Art Stratocaster`s four color schemes are something yet unseen in Fender catalog.
Refreshed and slightly curvier Strat contour sets the new Sergio Vallin Signature Guitar apart from other Strat signatures. Other than that, this six-stringed flat-top features a synchronized trem bridge, set of three versatile pickups (HSS configuration) with a very basic controls unit and a 22-fret fingerboard.
