MBJ200 is placed in the Bluegrass/Folk segment of the Mitchell Guitars catalog and is their only banjo model currently in production. This hollow bodied, mahogany made instrument features five strings and a 26-1/4" scale. The body also sports genuine Remo head and aluminum rim with 24 brackets. The bridge is made of maple with a rosewood tip and a tailpiece. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and has a standard shape with a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 22 frets and custom position inlays. Tuners are chrome plated and have pearloid keys.
