Recording King also makes resonator guitars, both the steel and wooden ones. This resonator is a steel resonator with a standard, non-cutaway body, which is made of brass. It is fully hollow inside and acoustic, as it does not feature any type of amplification system installed. There is no binding and the top is carved. Sound hole is divided into two, and each of them is split up with a grid. Bridge on this model is made of metal and it`s paired with a trapezoid tailpiece, also made of metal. Neck on this resonator is made of mahogany, RK`s favorite neck tone wood. It`s made of a single piece of wood and it`s topped with a standard 19-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Die-cast tuners are plated in chrome.
