RM-991 Recording King Metal Body Resonator is one of four metal-bodied resonators offered by Recording King. Also, it is one of only two 991-designated models (a designation reserved for Tricone models). RM-991 offers a distinct styling, a powerful, characteristic tone (w/strong projection and great sustain, as well as marvelous overtones only found in resonator guitars), standard 12th fret neck joint, and vintage styling. Recording King`s official site does not offer any info on the list (or retail) price on this model. Other notable features include a Honduran mahogany neck (rounded profile, satin finish, dovetail joint), a 19-fret fingerboard made of padauk (dot inlays, 1-11/16" wide bone nut, no binding), a T-bridge w/ebony & maple saddle, and a set of sealed die-cast tuners.
