Dobro resonator guitars have been around for almost a century (founded in 1928 by John Dopyera). Since 1994, Dobro is a member of the Gibson brand family and it is sold and distributed under the Epiphone badge. Hound Dog models with wooden bodies are currently the only Dobro models sold by Epiphone. Dobro Hound Dog Round Neck is one of two active Hound Dogs. It comes with a non-cutaway body, 25" scale, and fully acoustic construction. Key features include laminated maple back & sides, laminated maple top, set-in neck joint, and vintage hardware. There`s only one available color option - Vintage Brown. Other notable features include a mahogany neck, 19-fret fingerboard w/dot inlays, 10.5" cover plate, twin "f" holes, spider bridge w/ebony-topped maple base, and Grover tuners.
