RM-991 S is a model very similar to the RM-991, with the biggest difference being the neck profile. RM-991 has the rounded neck, which is more suitable to play standing up, while this one has a square neck, suitable to play when sitting down. Other than that, these two are pretty much the same. Thus, the RM-991 S has a standard, non-cutaway body made of brass. Just like the RM-991, this one is fully acoustic. Body top is carved with two separate sound holes. Bridge section features a bridge made of metal and a trapezoid tailpiece, also made of metal. Square-contoured neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and it`s topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Hardware on this model is plated in chrome.
