Excel Acoustic Basses Acoustic Bass Guitars by D`Angelico Guitars
Acoustic basses are a rather rare breed, being hugely outnumbered by their upright and solid-body siblings. Nevertheless, all major brands and a majority of smaller ones usually always feature one or two models in their catalogs. Excel Mott is D`Angelico`s budget-friendly acoustic bass.Existing color options include Grey Black, Natural Clear and Vintage Sunburst options for the right and Natural Clear for the lefty version.
Excel Mott is a single-cut guitar, with 34" scale, set-neck construction and 22-fret fingerboard. Solid rosewood back & sides, solid Sitka spruce soundboard, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard make up the chassis of this versatile four-stringer.
Other notable features and appointments include a fixed rosewood bridge, Stairstep pickguard, Skyscraper truss rod cover, Fishman INK-4 pickup/preamp system and Grover tuners.
