Despite it`s super convincing vintage looks, Zenith is a completely modern and contemporary creation. It was made as a tribute to the Epiphone`s glorious history and tradition. Semi hollow and hollow-bodied guitars with Epiphone`s badge on them were among the most popular and most sought after guitars back in the day. Epiphone also produced upright basses in the 1940s and `50s, all of which is visible on the new Zenith. Semi-hollow body of this four-stringed marvel is made of mahogany back and sides with a solid flamed maple top. Fixed wooden bridge is installed on the top. Two concealed NanoMag pickups are installed beneath the carved sound board and have split controls. Mahogany neck is fit with a slim taper D contour and has a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
