Westerly Collection is one of two major ranges in Guild`s acoustic segment. It was named after a town in which Guild started production in 1966 (the brand itself was founded in the 1950s). Four divisions of the Westerly Collection are Archbacks, 120, 140, and 150, with Junior Bass belonging to the most affordable one - the Archbacks. Westerly Jumbo Junior Bass offers a non-cutaway jumbo body (down-sized), glued-in neck (w/short 23-3/4" scale), Guild electronics, and Guild hardware. The color palette is limited to the Natural option (satin finish, ABS binding). Core construction features include flame maple back & sides (laminated), solid spruce top, maple neck, and 19-fret ebony fingerboard. Jumbo Junior Bass also features an ebony bridge, Guild tuning machines, as well as Guild AP-1 active piezo pickup.
