Ultra Light series of electric basses is one of the most interesting bass lines on the market. It`s models feature shorter scales, small bodies and super light-weight construction. Until now, only four-stringed models were present in the series lineup. For 2014, Traveler in introducing a brand new five-stringer, Ultra Light Bass 5. It comes with a solid maple body with neck-through construction. Body is flat and has holes through which tuning machines can be accessed (tuning machines on a majority of Traveler models are installed beneath the body and are accessed through the holes on the bodies). There`s only one color option available for this five-stringer, it`s natural with satin finish and chrome-plated hardware. Fixed bridge is fit with a shadow piezo pickup mounted beneath the saddle. Neck has the standard contour in the back and a 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard on the top. It features the regular dot inlays, as well as the medium-sized frets. Die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
