Traveler Guitars are bringing us new Ultra Light Bass for 2012 and the NAMM Show in Anaheim Ca. This bass model features a short bass scale which measures only 30", but packs the punch worthy of a full-scaled instrument. Ultra Light Bass starts off with a maple body in standard Traveler shape. The top is flat and features no bindings or pickguards whatsoever. The only color option available for this model is natural with satin finish. The bridge is made of rosewood and features a white plastic saddle. In amplification compartment, there is an under-saddle piezo pickup. The neck is made of maple and runs through the body. The fingerboard is made of ebonized rosewood and is equipped with 22 medium frets and dot position inlays. Other features on this model include: chrome plated hardware, 1.75" wide string nut and 33-3/4" overall length. The tuning machines are palced under the body and are accessible through the holes carved on the top of the guitar.
