The Artist series is a line of intermediate-class acoustics, made by Alvarez Guitars. It is located between the Regent series (beginner range) and Masterworks series(upper intermediate range). Four main sections make up the Artist range - steel-strings, nylon-strings, ukuleles, and acoustic basses. The steel-string division offers a huge number of dreadnoughts, grand auditoriums, parlors, and jumbos. AP70W is one of several parlor options offered through the Artist range. It is a fully acoustic axe with non-cutaway body construction, vintage tone, and elegant styling. Main features include walnut back & sides, solid A+ grade Sitka spruce top, 12th fret neck joint, and stock hardware. AP70W is available only in Natural Gloss. Other important features include a solid mahogany neck, 20-fret rosewood/pau ferro fingerboard, fixed rosewood/pau ferro bridge, and die-cast tuners.
