Alvarez Yairi models are located at the very top of the acoustic/classical section of the Alvarez catalog. Unlike the mass-produced Regent, Artist, and Masterworks series` models, Alvarez Yairi guitars are hand-made in Japan, in late master luhtier Kazuo Yairi`s shop in Kani City, Gifu prefecture. CYM75 is a Masterworks class instrument, the only currently available nylon-stringer of its class. It comes with a non-cutaway body (rosewood back/sides, AA grade cedar top, brown ABS binding), one-piece mahogany neck (classical contour, 12th fret spanish heel joint), 19-fret ebony fingerboard (flat radius, 2-1/16" bone nut, 25-19/32" scale), gold-plated Gotoh tuning pegs, hand-carved Yairi fan bracing system, classical rosewood bridge (bone saddle). The MSRP is set at $2,999.
