The models of all three series are hand-made in Japan, whereas the models of the standard Alvarez range are mostly made in China. DYM60 is a Yairi Masterworks model; it is a fully acoustic dreadnought with a non-cutaway body (solid mahogany back/sides, solid AA-grade Sitka spruce top, ivoroid binding, abalone rosette), a one-piece mahogany neck (50/50 gloss/satin finish, 14th fret dovetail joint), 20-fret ebony fingerboard (12th fret abalone inlay, 25-1/2" scale, 1.73" bone nut), ebony bridge (direct coupled, ebony pins, bone saddle), hand-carved FST2 bracing (forward-shifted, scalloped X bracing pattern), and gold-plated Gotoh tuning machines. The MSRP for this model is set at $2,669.
