Alvarez-Yairi is the top section of the Alvarez catalog. The range currently features three active series - Stage, Masterworks, Standard. Numerical designations within the series lineups correspond to the ones found in regular Regent, Artist and Masterworks series in that the 70 Yairi and 70 regular models have the same tonewoods. This also goes for the rest of the numerical designations. DY65CE is a Standard-class Yairi model. It is an amplified dreadnought guitar with a single-cut body (mahogany back/sides, AA western red cedar top, ivoroid binding, abalone rosette), one-piece mahogany neck (rounded profile, semi-gloss finish), 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (25.5" scale, 1.73" bone nut, 12th fret inlay), two-piece rosewood bridge (Alvarez shape, bone saddle, ebony pins), LR Baggs electronics, gold-plated Gotoh tuners, and FST2M bracing. The MSRP is set at $1,899.
