The Alvarez-Yairi range is made in Kani City, Japan (Gifu Prefecture) and currently consists of three series - Stage, Standard, and Masterworks. OY70CE belongs to the Standard series` tier 70. It offers a single-cut OM/folk body (solid rosewood back/sides, solid AA-grade Sitka spruce top, ivoroid binding, abalone rosette), a mahogany neck (one-piece construction, 50/50 semi-gloss finish, 14th fret dovetail joint), a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (12th fret inlay, 25-1/2" scale, 1-23/32" wide bone nut), LR Baggs electronics (StagePro EQ, Element piezo pickup), two-piece rosewood bridge (Alvarez contour, ebony bridge pins), gold-plated Gotoh tuners, and FST2M bracing pattern. The MSRP is set at $2,199.
