FYM70 belongs to the Masterworks section of the Alvarez-Yairi range. It belongs to the tier 70, one of only three currently available tiers in the Masterworks line. Like the rest of the Masterworks models (both Yairi and regular Alvarez), it starts off with a rosewood/spruce body and mahogany neck. The body is made with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, and AA-grade solid Sitka spruce top. Ivoroid binding and abalone rosette grace the top (there`s no pickguard on this gorgeous folk). The neck`s made of a single piece of wood and rocks the standard 14th fret dovetail joint. The fingerboard on its top is made of ebony and features 20 frets, 12th fret abalone inlay, and 25-1/2" scale. The MSRP has not yet been disclosed.
