RC models (this one included) belong to Alvarez`s Regent series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Regents are high-quality entry-level guitars, designed with beginners and younger players in mind. Affordability, durability, and great, versatile tone, are the strongest points of the Regent line. RC26 is a fully acoustic guitar, made with a non-cutaway classical body, standard 12th fret neck joint, classical headstock, and standard 25-1/2" scale. The RC26 goes for around $200 and is a great option for players just starting out. The Natural (w/satin finish, chrome hardware, white binding) is the only available color option. Specs list highlights include mahogany back & sides, spruce soundboard (double abalone rosette), mahogany neck (w/satin finish, classical contour), 19-fret fingerboard (w/dot inlays, 1.6875" nut), and rosewood bridge (classical contour).
